That's a nice securement job. Any time you see a good securement job, you have to give the driver the benefit of a doubt.

 

Would you rather them NOT check the brakes because they're too lazy to look under there?

 

definitely, but I'm waiting for my first inspection when I'm pulling one of these trailers. You think i can get my fat ### under there? There are acces panels in the trailer deck to get to them, but you have to have an impact to get the bolts out.

 

I've got the same issue...I ain't getting my big ### under here everyday!!

 

And DOT doesn't go under there either!!

 

Wanna bet? Sheridan, laurel are two barns that I can think of.

 

Well, I'm no flatbedder, and that is one big coil, so where would you put it then?

 

That is about the best place for it really, without knowing the weight on it, eric can speculate all day

 

Maybe just the angle of the pic, buy it looks to me like it's a little to far to the rear. Looks like it could have been a couple foot more forward. Hard to tell without seeing it firsthand.
