I’m from Pittsburgh, PA. As far as applications go, I’ve been filling out most of them through tenstreet, but Schneider goes through their own website. If they ask I ALWAYS disclose my past, but what I’m unsure of now is if they even asked about felonies. I don’t remember now that I’ve filled out so many other ones.
Really discouraged

Felonies are six years old and I’ve held down jobs for the three years I’ve been home and have not been fired or anything.
CrappieJunkie Thanks this. -

The felonies are from six years ago and I’ve been home for three and have held down work the whole time. My child is taken care of well enough as well. I’m trying to further myself and make better money at this point. Thanks for the comment though I appreciate itx1Heavy Thanks this.

They will ask you can gaurantee that.
Trucking is heavily regulated for public safety and also anti terrorist. The Dept of Homeland Security would be involved as part of investigating your application to join a company and go drive a truck. There are many checks and balances involved behind the scenes so that actual terrorists, nutcases, seriously certifiable mental health threats and so on never get to touch a big truck. For all our sakes.
Because of the real id laws mandatory for 2020 year, there will be a sharp increase in everything from renewing a CDL, getting one and also simply hiring on for a job. They are bringing in big data so that your pharmacy history going back 10 years is in play. Every single pill you have ever bought is on there on a weekly basis in near real time.
There are for some a little drift towards the Orweallian 1984 situation. And there isnt much I can do about that personally. -
I celebrate your successes. Try to remember that however small there is sunshine to be found. And rejoice on the small things that represent progress and happiness. Life is too short to be a ####### LOL.Wparrish1986 Thanks this.

I know they will ask, I’m just worried they haven’t yet (because I can’t remember if they have now after filling out so many other apps. and talking to so many recruiters). I’m concerned about giving myself false hope at this point is what I’m saying.

You said "felonies", that's plural. How many felonies?
You're still hirable. Main thing is just answer the questions on the applications accurately.
For example :
"Have you been convicted of a felony?" Answer : Yes
"Have you been convicted of a felony within the last 5 years?" Answer : No
Do some more applications and do the online apps:
Go to the company website and do the applications.
Stevens Transport
Calex Logistics
Paschall Truck Lines
Carolina Cargo
May Trucking Company
Navajo Express
Southern Refrigerated Transport
Covenant Transport
Freymiller
PI&I Motor Express - Teamsters Union
Western Express
Roadtex Transportation
TransAm - don't lease a truck; be a company driver only.
USA Truck
Martin Enterprises of the Carolinas
Big-M Transportation
Note : Ignore "experience required" and apply anyway. Do the applications before any phone calls. When you do call, just say, "I'm checking on my job application."
Apply to all of them; the more the better for you. You'll probably get job offers before you finish submitting applications.Dan.S, CrappieJunkie and Wparrish1986 Thank this. -
Well keep looking.Like it was mentioned you might wanna try construction. Its not the most glamourest job but its something. You received a prehire from Schneider give them a call and see if that attempted homicide will interfere with the hiring process.Wparrish1986 Thanks this.

The felony I mentioned and a robbery charge. I’ve applied to most of those, have been rejected by some and am waiting a few days to follow up with the others, but I’ll work on getting applications in with the ones I haven’t done yet. Thank you for the support, I truly appreciate it. Btw, I’m always honest on applications and give full disclosure.
