I run at 71 most day. That's a brutal day and I go there because the plant I usually go to which is 200 miles closer is down.
things are different up there man. I still get passed all day by trucks doing 71. I'm in farm country where livestock trucks cruise at 80 and think nothing of it.
I'm paid by the hour but I don't like working more than 50 hours a week. After 50 hours taxes take so much money out of your overtime it's not even worth working. -
Fold....Will your company bank hrs for you if you wanted to slow down??
If its an option it will lessen YOUR personal stress and you will not likely be as wore out at the end of your day.. -
I don't think so. Things are better now anyways because the plant is back up and I can run a little 500 mile day now instead of 800 and we are probably going to hire someone to help out with the local runs so I can stay in the tanker everyday.
I haul def and it's been getting busy. We get like 2 new accounts a week and it's just me and another driver. -
Sheesh man whatcha gonna do with all that $$

I'm going to kauai for 10 days next week. lol it's gonna be a #### show when I get back.

So I read the title to this thread and my first thought was, can it keep a beat?
