So far so good. I have another video coming soon. Haven't had a chance to edit it. Been running pretty good. After that last video I went from North Carolina to Missouri. Then from Missouri to Ohio. After that they wanted to keep me close so I could get home for this weekend and load my stuff into the truck. Went from Columbus, Ohio where I dropped the last load to Illinois. Then i oicked up another load going back to the same place in Columbus the next day. Then they had me bobtail home.
I am at the house now. They have a preplan for me to pick up in Columbus, OH in the morning and taking it to Minnesota. Hopefully I will be going to our New Ulm, MN terminal after that to swap this truck for a new one.

 

Yes I know, all their new trucks are autos. I have come to the conclusion I would rather have a newer nicer truck that is an auto then this freighliner cascadia (freighliners are the chevy cavalier of trucks) with a crap 10 speed. I forgot how much I hated 10 speeds. I have been lucky, most of my trucking career I have been in a 13 speed truck. 10 speeds suck, especially when the truck has no power like these company trucks.

Another update. These videos are from the beginning of the week. Just had a chance to edit them last night while I was stuck at a consignee for 6 and a half hours. Video on that tomorrow.

 

I'll never work for a company without APUs and when we buy a truck it will have one or be getting one istalled.
