A cop who harassed a nurse for a truckers blood sample has been fired.

Actually he didn't give the cop the OK, he ordered the cop to do it.

I kinda feel sorry for the cop actually. His boss told him to break the law. Yes he should not have, but again his boss was there telling him to do it.
He should still have gotten fired I agree with that for the way he handled it. I just think his boss should have bend fired too.

 

She did. Last I heard the attorneys were scheduled to meet. She likely will get a few dollars for that, and I say more power to he.

 

Don't feel a bit sorry for the one that got fired. Payne had been informed by Rigby police (where the truck driver and patient in question worked part time) that they could get a blood sample later but he purposely withheld that information from Tracy, which led to him giving the go ahead to escalate the situation. All because two grown *** men couldn't handle being told no. Smh

 

This is why cops can't be trusted.

I agree justice should be done. These officers ruins all of our images.

 

Sorry, but a cop that targets a trucker for no good reason gets that response. Me personally in my 20 years of driving can't really say that the DOT has been fair to us truckers or at least not to me.

 

I don't think it had anything to do with hating truck drivers. I think they were hoping he had alcohol in his system to get them off the hook for a completely unnecessary chase and to save them from liability law suits.
