I bought 6 OEM from Mack ( same as Volvo ) July 2011 and their out and out of warranty. I'm teaked ! I just ordered 6 new Monroe gas jobs at $60 ea. It's what everybody else is running so i'm going with the crowd.
Be wary too, I have spent a load of cash at Mack over the last 18 mos and most of the parts have gone bad including a water filter that was only 6 mos old. Parts quality has dropped in the quest for more profits. I'm getting better stuff off Ebay!

i agree. my kenworth has the ag380 and i put all new shocks on 5 months ago. the oem gabriel shocks is what i got from kenworth. junk, all but 1 is leaking,. just bought 4 new monroe 65 shocks. i\ll pay just a litttle more and hope for alot better shock this time around.

Did these offer a better ride?
-
Absolutely. It rode alot better with the Monroe gas shocks. That ag380 has so much travel, it beats the hell out of shocks. Better have good ones on the 380 in my opinion.

Ok cause I'm getting a problem getting mines to ride smoothly... Changed almost everything out.. only thing I can is I added the paccar OEM shocks instead of upgrading... I can almost feel every bump in the road
