And I drove trucks without power steering or air conditioning, on spring ride and two sticks, but that was then and this is now.

In all reality , I don't believe in my gut that big changes will happen , especially between can and US , but if nafta negotiations fail , it could turn into a pissing match .
I think this is all just a deal and our side is pushing for the best deal they can get

What I find humorous is how Canada and Mexico say they'll stay in nafta if we pull out .
Are they going to ship goods by boat or plane , maybe they think we will just wave them through .
Hard to read stories on nafta negotiations , and get any unbiased opinion .
It's mostly we hate trump , so if he's against nafta we're for it .
This is a strange political issue , unions want nafta gone and even far lefty Bernie sanders spoke out against it.

The mainstream media is so slanted and pushing their agenda.
On one hand they talk about nafta as if all parties are equal , Canada has 1/10 our population and Mexico is a basket case.
Access to our markets were never weighted into the negotiations .
Media never mentions how many factories left the US after nafta and other globalist free trade agreements were signed.
They say it will be economic Armageddon if we pull out of these agreements .
When we pulled out of TPP I didn't see squat happen .

None of it matters to drivers on either side of the border.
As soon as that first driverless truck pulls a load from
One terminal to the next it's all over for us anyway.

    LTL gone,otr gone, linehaul gone,
A million drivers out of work.
The only question is how cheap the companies can
Pay all theses unemployed drivers to take the load
Off the yard and deliver it too the customer.

Then pick up a load and bring it back to the yard
For the driverless truck to take it a 1000 miles
    To somewhere.
I'm guessing 10 bucks an hour with no overtime.

Better get out of dept now. All of our days are numbered.

OTTO is here , not sure how to stop it .
I'll leave that fight to others ... mothers against Otto .
Then we can all support Mao , the commie media types will force a name change .
I say American trucking jobs for American OTTOs , we don't want sinister foreign OTTOs running free on our roads

I have hauled many loads in-bond to Mexico and likewise from Mexico to Canada, it happens all the time. So, yes, they just get "waved through" and it has nothing to do with any part of the U.S.'s inclusion in NAFTA.
