Thats when you find a fleet pride or napa and buy a blower motor and change it out in their parking lot.

I generally hold a crussafix up to this thread. Dude has bad luck and I don't even own a set of chains.

I hear ya,man. I did that too in the T/A thread...I started following him as of late. I just pray it all better for him, as well. I've got chains, but what good would they be unless he wants to pass thru Ohio? I hear ya. Dang.

Cool, good to know it worked for you. Have had many a driver stand and stare at me when scrubbing the windshield with that stuff, always ask the same thing “Does that work” and “where you get that”.
Also like mean green cleaner, when you don’t need grit, plus has a ton of other uses.

What I was trying to say is: truck owners need to have the repair costs factored into the income stream.
Using the higher(dealer) possible costs, should insure a profit left over.
Not that an owner would chose to always hire the highest option. I almost always use the lowest cost option. Thus giving me a higher profit, after costs.

We agree, I don't mind paying a reasonable shop bill either.

I think environmental fees are a scam. Only items on a bill should be. Shop hours, parts and taxes.

Shop rate should include all shop expenses. I haven't talked to a mechanic yet that gets paid $125.00 per hour.

    Good luck

those shop fee's and evrio charges are just money grabs had a john deere mech out last week through all of his towels and parts in my dumpster and still charged the 25.00 fee when i asked him he said it was something the dealership puts on every invoice

Ran 628 today. Got rain, sleet and snow along the way, nothing all that bad, just enough to keep you alert. Keeping my eye on a breakaway piece of energy that seems to be heading for Kalispell, hard to tell what it's going to do. Got 192 left to grind out tomorrow, then back to the barn for repairs, laundry and a non vibrating bed for a couple nights.

    More later...
