I want two of the Abnormal banners. Thatd be cool to flag a load here in the states with them to go by one of the 24hr scales where the ticked off DOT are waiting. Then give them a box of day old doughnuts for all the troubles I caused them

Lol!! We need those here in the US. 90% of the drivers on the highways fit in the "Abnormal" category.
-
To divide the load would make the delivery cost prohibitive to the customer, there is actually a question on there about dividing up the load.
-
I doubt there is a state or province that won't hand out a permit for anything if you are willing to pay for it.
-
Regarding the banners. Around here most comments from those not in the industry relate to mothers in law in some way or another.fargonaz, Lepton1, whoopNride and 1 other person Thank this.
-
Thanks, didn't know that about Colorado.
-
Well if that was the case everyone could claim that? We would all be running around on permits to 110k? Heck I could add another load to my other full load. Maybe that's what I'll do to make up for Elogs.
Lol -
That one wasn't me. I'd like one for my tanker, and/or my barn. If you saw how the permit guys are having me build my extensions, you'd understand why, LoL~!
Still cool. Never heard of that, until you, sir~! -
Cost to the customer is not a factor for permitting overweight divisible loads....Colorado law allows for this permit. Just like Oregon, Washington and a bunch of other states.
-
It's not a factor, but it does ask about it, besides we charged $160 for an $80 permit
