Was contacted by this company today. He really tried, and I did everything in my power to not tell him to get bent. Below is our short convo, once I checked his csa profile and seen that their dot number was just started in July and that they are allay at 22% oos on their equipment violations, I immediately started thinking that this place is gonna be an issue. It's crazy, they've been inspected over 400 times in 3 months and they only have 85 trucks. Wad I went through the website, I could've swore I seen something about reefer and dry van equipment, when I asked him about it, it showed him active on LinkedIn, but he took a long time to respond then claimed there was nothing to do with refers or dry van. When I searched back the info I thought I had seen was gone. See the attachments for or conversation

Company seems like a fly by night spot.

I had considered that butt I didn't want him to think I was leading him on.

But seriously 400+ inspections for a 3 month old company? Wtf...

    That is odd.

We have nearly the same amount of truck inspections and 50% more driver inspections. That's in the last two years and 250 trucks. They must run some rough looking equipment get picked on that hard.

Never mind. The mcs-150 is not the dot in service date. They have inspections dating back to 2015.

I guess it's just a coincidence but my company has the same date listed under mcs-150.

    I misread it then

Even still for only 85 power units, 400 inspections in the last 24 months is a lot. Looking at their website and facebook page they are showing that they are getting new trucks in the fleet consisting of cascadia and 579s.

You have to go to the licensing and insurance on that page, then look at the authority. Looks like the broker authority got revoked a couple times.
