My elog didn't tell me when my next bowel movement was and unfortunately I got a big violation because of it.
But fortunately I was able to make good use of the required paper back up log I am required to carry.
Although that dot officer didn't think much of the way I made use of the paper....
He gave me a form and manners ticket...
I wonder if I can challenge it in the data que?

RDBG, Lepton1 and Scooter Jones Thank this.

Apparently having a brain and doing something that simple is too far beyond the elog haters.
Hell, I parked 15 minutes from home, as it was the closest place. Well, until I "found" a place close closer....

    FozzyNOK and nightgunner Thank this.

Elogs just another excuse for drivers to cry and wine ..only exceptions are stock haulers .
Most are on em already and no big deal ..plan your trip and won't have a problem .
Been on and off them for years and still get the same miles ..ho hum .
The days of leaving home late on Sunday in Omaha to be 800 miles down the road on Monday are over tho lol.

I work a lot too. Been doing between 550-680 miles and 3 loads to gas stations (I’m a fuel hauler) every day since going on elogs. I’ve yet to park my truck with less than 1 hour still available to work in my 14. Haven’t even been close to cutting it close yet

I have been guilty of driving my truck across gas station parking lots at 3mph while on my break though

    Oxbow Thanks this.

It’s truly uncanny how everyone seems to have a truckstop with available parking 15 minutes from their house.

I still laugh at people say you can't make any miles I will still pull over 700 miles a day on e-logs legally. I guess that's the difference between a professional driver and a steering wheel holder.

stwik, Voodoo Pyg, AModelCat and 2 others Thank this.
  11. Keep truckin' has worked just fine. you can edit it 2 weeks back before its concrete. apo is free and works great on a tablet.

do not use your personal cell phone. once you have handed it to a cop he can look thru easily.

wore out, nax and Lepton1 Thank this.
