No, I posted before you responded to my question. That's why I edited the post. I'm not here to argue. I don't care if you don't even know what a truck is & you want to start a trucking company. Go for it. I'm not going to try to talk you out of it or tell you it's a bad idea.

People with business sense can be successful in a business they know nothing about. Just research Andrew Carnegie. Man knew absolutely nothing about producing steel but he built the largest steel producing company in the world.

 

He'll find out soon enough what he's really in store for lol!

Im finding out everyday...Thing is. I dont buy this argument that trucking is this "whole 'nother monster" its made out to be.

There's a lot of b/s in trucking...but that's coz people get (allow) boinked all the time. Trucking is like a whorehouse, any guy with a few dollars get a nut busted off - just to what degree is debatable.

 

Well, I just learned something there today. You good in my books.

I've seen people open a donut store...and cant even make a donut...Im serious.

Heck when bought my garage, I knew nothing about being a mechanic (I hired them) and now 6 yrs later, Im still here...lol

 

None of the paperwork or government regulations are impossible to overcome. They're a headache but you deal with it. I don't think anyone is telling you that stuff is too much to handle. The difficult part in trucking is really the easy part - making money - lol. And experience isn't necessary but I can guarantee you experience will get you to profitability a lot quicker than having none at all. This ain't wrenching on cars. Rates can change dramatically overnight and there's still a lot of places out here where it's business as usual.

I could be wrong but he might have meant AMMF, which is in fact the subject of this thread. And questions are rarely designed to add information. In case you didn't know.

 

Thank you for that wonderful tidbit!!! Also sorry for the misspelling. Now that I’ve said that I must also say you must be a genius I’m going to add content to a thread I have no information on!!! As the other poster stated thread was created to get information on aamf!!! With that said I came in this thread to get some info!! But as I have read so far you really don’t have anything useful to say.. I’ll leave with this if this thread is no longer about aamf then it should be closed to the rest sorry for being off topic
