Hello, I am looking to start a trucking company and looking to purchase an older active MC #. This will reduce cost of insurance. And lots of brokers won't work with you until your MC is 6 months or a year old. Also no one will rent you trailer unless your MC is a year old.

You can have mine(With a stipulation of a name change before acquisition)
    No Book of business- $20k

my MC starts with a 2 with zero defaults EVER and no CSA score (Was a 16 2 years ago)

Im sure you could find it cheaper, like a 5-700 series.....With a Book of business if they wont require a name change

Is your MC # active? Does it have an UCC filings on it?

You can buy all you want, fmcsa will not transfer old numbers, you will get your own numbers and it will show everyone you are just starting out.

I’m looking to see how much I can sell mine. I have been in business for 11 years and have a 2013 KW T700 and a 2012 Wabash dry van. I’ll let you know, I’m working on numbers.
