You're an Okie, you know if it gets that cold it doesn't stay long. Some winters more than others but on average we have mild winters.Lepton1 Thanks this.

Technically I am a "grafted Okie". I've been through two winters here. The weather is kind of like Denver, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes".Orange713, Airborne, RStewart and 1 other person Thank this.

Everyone talks about weather weather changes like this but never really see it. I have in yhe Aleutian islands years ago.
All during a 10 hour shift
Clear, sunny and freezing then....
Hail then.....
Rain then....
Fog then....
Clear and windy... -
Give that "man"a smile next time you look in the mirror !Highway Sailor, Lepton1, spyder7723 and 1 other person Thank this.

Cut my trucking teeth in North Dakota 30 years ago ...I learned how to keep things running in extreme cold .
And dry cold snow is much preferable to warm snow on warm pavement .
Hence. Why I park it on 80 across Iowa during a storm . -

sawmill, Highway Sailor, RStewart and 2 others Thank this.
