I'm looking for some tire pressure systems, not automatic but not overly expensive. I've priced the Cat's eye and the Crossfire systems, but is there anything else.

I don't need a fancy visual indicator, I've got 2 good hands and a nice TPG. I'm mainly looking to get both tires on a single valve to keep them equal and easier to fill.

Anyone got any ideas? Everytime I google tire and equalizer in the same phrase all I get is Crossfire.

    Thanks.

    I have to ask why...

Tire pressure isn't hard to check, and with a hose and chuck, can be filled from the truck itself.

Tire pressure monitoring systems are very good but only if they give a alarm in the cab.

I have been using the Crossfire system for a few years. I had one fail on me and the manufacturer replaced with a new one. They are easy to maintain, nothing really to them and have held up well. I would recommend them. And when a tire is low, only having to use one valve stem at the Crossfire unit itself is a real time saver.

Look into the Halo tire inflation system. Inflates while truck is in motion. Bolts onto the hub.

I called the manufacturer on these Halo units, they quoted me $1400 for the drives. Then called back a month or two later and said $1200... Crossfires are around $200, and the visual tire pressure gauge is nice. I still thump my tires.

Crossfires are around $200 each while these are around $300 each. Personally I would rather have the ability to keep up with a slow leak

I have a hose, I have a chuck, what I want is a nice visual indicator so I can quickly and easily tell my tires are at the pressure I want. Or have a single valve stem for both tires making filling them faster and easier.

My needs are slightly different than most on here, and I'm trying to run my trucks are profitable as maintenance minded as possible.
