    It is a Cummins Big Cam 3 NTC-400 It's (peoplenet) just hooked to constant power and is used for messaging and tracking.. I don't use the log part of it at all.

    Ours is set up for log part as is everyone in the company. Most running pre 2000 engines. Most are DD some are Cummins.

    Mine is a 1998 (1997 block/ecm) and has a ecm data port.

    I tested it with a friends ELD and it communicated - I just dont plan on using elogs...lol

    If all else fails the engine serial numbers are usually stamped on the block.
