Tidewater Transit has a terminal in Decatur, I think.

Beelman Truck Company has a terminal in Montevallo,AL & hires new cdl grads.
"Beelman offers a variety of trailers consisting of end dumps, side dumps, pneumatic tanks, tippers, vans, and flats."

Dude thank you for all the Info! I wasn't expecting all this :) I looked up Tidewater, and it's near Decatur. Not too far from me which would be fantastic. I honestly haven't thought about bulk hauling until you mentioned it. Do you have to have any type of special endorsement for it? I wouldn't think so as long as it's nothing flammable/hazardous.

Just a word of advice on tmc, they will take a woman, however finding a trainer will be extremely hard. Reason why is they don't have many of any women trainers. They will have to get the trainer to agree, and if the trainer is married, his spouse will have to sign a waiver to allow her husband to train a woman. I'm sure you can guess why...

Tanker/hazmat endorsement & TWIC ID Card. Google for nearest TWIC office for the TWIC ID Card.
Tanker is easy money and probably make $60K - $65K right out of cdl school.
Also in Decatur, A&R Logistics (non-hazmat/need 6 mos driving experience) and Carry Transit (non-hazmat and need 12 mos. driving experience). Something to think about for the future.

    Carry Transit (non-hazmat food grade)

    A&R Logistics (non-hazmat plastic pellets)

Well if she's a clever trucker she'll leave the tarps on the trailer which makes it so much easier to tarp.

And when she goes to roll and fold? Tmc stripes their tarps in their headache racks, not on their trailers

"Jeezy honey, she's 5'1", that's why she is riding on my lap. She can't reach the pedals so I need to work them. It's strictly business. Sometimes we have to do this as professionals!"

    Mmmhmmm.
