Was notified Friday afternoon I'd need to swap my California bound load near Albuquerque Sunday afternoon to a driver for his home time.

Sucks because our schedules don't mesh at all I'm going to have hold and wait for the load coming from Salem and flip my clock/schedule to make the 00:30 Tuesday Houston delivery and the California load is not going to make the 09:00 Monday appointment.

Glad this doesn't happen often but it happens frequently around the holidays and about 3-4 weeks prior to holidays.

Stuck in the Aldi DC in Olathe, KS, waiting for them to restack several cases of carrots from Grimway Farms. The cases the carrots were packed in are much flimsier than carrots I've hauled before, and six pallets side-slumped. No product spillage, but there will likely be some OSD. Joy.

Unloading and reloading same door near Joliet, IL. Heading out to Sumner, WA for 05:00 Monday appt. With any luck and if the weather cooperates, I may arrive the North Bend TA sunday afternoon with 15-30 minutes on my 70. I reserved a parking spot anyway because I'm going to try like hell to make it to the TA. I REALLY don't like having to hold short at Ellensburg and leave in the wee hours and cross Snoqualamie to an early appointment [in winter].

After 50 days out, I'm back at home for 4 days, then heading back out to do it again :)

    Green River UT.
Delivered yesterday morning in Riverside Ca and had to pick up in Santa Fe Springs. Till i was finally loaded rush hour had started so I stayed in the area as I had only 1.5 hrs left.
Left early this morning and made 671 miles in 10:50.
Two drops tomorrow morning in the Denver area.

I'm usually out four weeks and then I take a week off, 50 days and only 4 days off would kill me

I don’t know you, but you seem like a guy who gets it. A true trucker that just knows his stuff.

Thank you! Just try to do my job as efficient as possible.
I'm used to plan everything, since I started 37 years ago in Germany we had these paper discs where every minute was stored, compared to ELD's much more difficult to plan anything.

    In Fleming CO.
Made my two drops this morning in Denver and another driver preloaded a trailer for me and dropped it at the drop yard, thank you!
Started my day at 2 AM this morning, had not much time left on my 14 today.
According to dispatch there's a loaded trailer waiting for me at the yard for SoCal.

I delivered in Tumwater, WA (Olympia area) yesterday, then dead headed over to Othello to pick up a load last night. Got loaded and rolling by about about 1800, then made it to the Petro in Spokane for my break.

On my way to Taylor, MI, but only made it to Belgrade, MT today (400 miles) due to weather. Wasn't too bad until I got into Montana.

Can always count on them (and Wyoming) to not do a dang thing to their roads. Geesh.
