Went to Mepkin Abbey for a visit. It’s an old style monastery an hour northwest of Charleston. Beautiful place (watch out for the gators), but those PETA people were there protesting because the monastery sold eggs to the public (the monks have a farm on the property). These PETA idiots were protesting the eggs because they believe that the humane way to get eggs if from the grocery chains.

If you want to see what happens when truck drivers play nice with protestors, the whole world saw what happened to Reginald Denny.
If protestors have you marked for a bad person, be that bad person.

 

Well, I actually am a vegan and agree with these guys - however, stepping in front of trucks will NOT do the trick. You can only change yourself. I had to learn that after being a member of PETA and not changing the world like I thought I would. On a side note, that truck was absolutely beautiful.

 

But there was a song by John..............Plant a tree for your tomorrow, plant a tree to clear the air!!!
