    Along I29 in Iowa, can't remember the mile marker, there is a field with hundreds of trucks of every color. They appear to be new but not sure.
    Anyone know what the deal is with all those trucks just parked there???

    I believe that you are referring to the Hague Truck Parts, they are based out of Council Bluffs. Its a bone yard. They do sell used trucks there as well. They are out of warranty.

    It is a "holding" yard for frieghtliner. Those are all trade in trucks from the big companies that they store there until they have space on their Selectrucks lots to sell them. There is also one in Texas near Sherman.

    The guy who owns the field all those trucks are sitting on is making a killing. He gets about $25-50 a month for EACH truck that sits in that field. Wish I could have thought of a deal like that with my 40 acres in Iowa.

    A lot of those trucks will never see use in America again. A lot of used trucks are heading out of the country. The market for used trucks overseas is pretty good, especially in India and China.
