    Here is my situation:

I retired out of the Air Force in 2006. My CDL wouldn't transfer from the military so I went to school and got my civilian CDL. I landed a great local job hauling gas. Well, before I hang up my CDL and retire for good I want to go over the road for a while. I am looking for a company that has the best trucks and runs legal. I am thinking of TMC. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    vet,
I think TMC (too much chrome,) would be a choice I'd consider myself, if I was close enough to a terminal that is. I've been around those guys and they seem to be happy, although there's always going to be negativity wherever you go.
You'd be hard pressed to find better equipment than theirs, if nothing else.

    Good luck.

Most companies will not give you the best truck they have because someone that has been at that company for a while will have it.

You will most likely get a beat up truck as most companies will treat you as a newbiee because you do not have any recent otr experince and they may want a refresher course too.
