    6 to 12 inches???? not on mine I have 3 inches of clearance. As for westside would never think of them again "not enough dry van exp." but that was 3+ years ago 17 years verifiable driving exp. but not enough dry van??? oh,well all worked out in the end just a bitter taste about them.

    Well, I have been AWOL for a long time!! Here is a follow up on West Side Transport... They are a terrific company to drive for! The pay guarantee is real. I only missed it once in 10 months due to a load being scanned a few hours late. My pay guarantee is now $1200 week.
    I have found them to be as perfect as a truckload carrier can be and I am having a blast driving for them!!

    To qualify for the weekly guarantee, you must be out the entire 7 days. I can take every other weekend off, but would only get the guarantee every other week. I stay out 3-4 months at a time.

    After 10 months, I can say it is not hard to hit the pay guarantee. It is very achievable.

    Could it be that they "fluffed" that number, telling you that there were supposed to be 10? My CDL school did the same thing. Make them appear in demand.....

    That was a year ago. :) They were not lieing to me, they really did have 9 no shows, and were quite surprised! Anyway, I have been with West Side Transport a year and they have proven to be fantastic!!

    Double07, are you still with West Side? Was thinking about looking into them, wondering what you could tell me. This thread so far sounds like you’ve been happy with them so far, but that was also a few months ago. I know things can change.
