If an OO isn't grossing 1k (average) a day than he's a horrible business owner. You're turning this into something it's not. My point is as stated, outside of intermodal the sky is the limit as to what a smart business owner can accomplish.

i dont make 3500 after fuel. if i work 6-7 days i can im sure. but 1k a day no i dont. i just wish i bought my truck cash. something like 20k n done.

I would miss the freedom and choice of being an O/O. I've had good LTL jobs, you really gotta hump day in, day out. Without seniority, it's a crappy job.
@JimmyWells you're correct, outside of Intermodel, there's more money, but you will also sacrifice being home every night, which is very important to some guys.slim shady and RERM Thank this. -
Totally agree BUT if one lives in the right area they can only run a 300 mile radius and do much better than getting screwed with intermodal.RERM Thanks this.
