I am diving a 1998 379 and they have an ELD installed... go above 5mph and it kicks me to driving....
Some brokers (jbhunt) require ELD regardless of vehicle age Also, some employers now see the benefit of "ELD" to track hourly pay + vehicle tracking. U come to work, log-in into ELD, thus track hours i.e. Keep Trucking If I get a driver for my truck, I'll go to ELD
lol, And they have the capacity to pick n choose over an ELD? please.....When Brokers start requiring ELD's...I Know the industry makes a mountain out of a molehill when they cry about no trucks
my understanding is they won't be "actively" enforcing the mandate for 6 months after implementation. That would be June '18.....but are you willing to test that ? lol
They will be actively enforcing the eld rule starting Dec 18. What they are postponing is simply putting trucks oos for lack of eld. Will still get a fine though. And the date is actually April. ELD out-of-service enforcement to begin in April, citations and fines begin on Dec. 18 deadline
Some of these posts I'm reading just shows me how much some of you enjoy an ELD- If the government told you to Jump, Would you say "How high?" Aint your faults though.........Some of you were raised to follow and never lead by example
