Next time someone parks next to me and idles the engine.....I SWEAR I'LL CALL THE US MARSHALL'S ....that'll git em where it hurts!

Trucker61016, fargonaz and spyder7723 Thank this. -
The Arikara Tribe. Yes, I meant Injuns. Gimme a break I'm almost 235 years old.

I don't mind idling so much as the guy that feels it's a good idea to see if his low air buzzer works at 2am!!!
Flacrkr Thanks this. -
Okay there is a Wabasto for bunk heating, but what is the technology solution for when guys pull in next to you with a Cattle Trailer and the cows or bulls keep mooing or kicking the trailer?
OMG that is way worse than even reefers.Trucker61016, fargonaz and wore out Thank this. -
I always preferred the cattle truck over a reefer or a truck that was fireing up & shutting down every 20 minutes. Added benefit is they mask the disgusting smell of the truck stop parking lot with that fresh country air. Who knows, a couple weeks and whatever was in that trailer might be on my plate...and the thought of a nice steak or a good burger always makes me happy.BigBob410, spyder7723 and wore out Thank this.

That's the most peaceful sleep. The trailer makes the truck sway a bit. Let it get still and I'm awake instantlyBigBob410, Tall Mike, spyder7723 and 1 other person Thank this.

Buy a cheap fan to override the outside noise. I'm the opposite I can't sleep without noise love the sound of big trucks idling.

I'm the same way, for years I couldn't sleep at home, too quiet.Flacrkr Thanks this.
