WD40 or what Lubricant?

Try this on your dirt bike I've been doing this for years works great you will have to cut the grips off afterwards. Take cloth electrical tape wrap around bar then poor a little gas in the grip it will slide right on and melts the glue in the tape. After the gas evaporates presto gluded on grips don't even safety wire them anymore.

This is the best in mho as it doesn't freeze and it doesn't attract dirt and other undesirables (no not lot lizards)

Road salt and winter conditions degrade basically any kind of lubricant. Best solution I found is below

They have it in butter flavor too.

I love it. I use it on my winches, ratchets, he I even use it on a rag to clean up took a that get a little rust on them, etc
