The Nicola One truck is not better looking and the cumming all electic truck is the best looking but I think the Nicola One truck will perform the best in all areas since it is being developed by actual truck drivers. I mean up to 1000hp and up to 2000lb-ft of torque? Aaaand up to 1300 miles range? That's worth the price tag they are asking if you ask me. Oh yeah and did I forget to mention you get 1,000,000 miles free gas?!

Oh and the brake shoes --- of course it wont, that's coz the #### thing will prolly use brake pads & rotors (thereby negating brake shoes)

And finally, Is it just me or did Elon Musk appear a little flustered with his delivery? I detected areas of stuttering and hesitations. Maybe he did not have his FACTS right about:

• 15 mins to fuel - NOT TRUE - he has no idea how fast them pumps are
  
• referred to truck fuel as gasoline at one time

if you listen to him in the video he mentions it can go 1mil miles without a breakdown, he then says even if 2 of the 4 motors fail it can still run better than a diesel on 2 motors, wouldnt you still have to get them fixed? and isnt saying if 2 motors fail,isnt that admitting it can breakdown? if 2 motors can fail then why cant 3? i guess he has a different idea of what a breakdown is. trucks have 18 tires so if one blows you can keep goin, that doesnt mean a repair isnt needed.

If a electric motor goes down it will be the brushes or the Stator that failed. Very expensive.

If they really went down, it's due to over thermal loading just like the traction motors on the locomotives today, those are protected by big blowers to cool the thermal building on the copper windings inside the cores of those traction motors of the railroad engine. You can load em for 6 minutes roughly before you MUST reduce power to start dissapating the heat with the blowers.

Otherwise they burn out and have to be rewound with a disgusting amount of copper.
