    It's a Saturday night
    And I ain't got nobody
    Got some money
    Cause I just got paid
How I wish I had someone to talk to
    In an aweful way

Nah, ain't that bad but just haven't posted to you miscreants in a while. It's a vent thing for me.

Kinda sorta been a little depressed and stuff for the last few weeks. I don't know why, loads have been great, miles have been 3k or so, truck is running like a raped ape. Need some time off I reckon.

I put in for home time a couple weeks ago with William. Put in for Thanksgiving in Cartersville so I can spend Tgiving with my sisters in Blue Ridge. Looks like William has worked his magic again. Delivery in Durham NC Monday morning. Gotta hand it to our dispatchers. Gotta take a crap load every so often but you'll get a gravy run in return.

New truck is running good. Well, except for that lame lane departure thing. It needs work, refinement for it to be useful and not a distraction. I'm cool with the radar and following too close thing. I really think it's made me a safer driver. Funny, I left Richfield this morning to load at May Steel just up the road,,, snow and all that jazz,, snow freaked out the radar,,,,, I just sat back, took another sip of coffee and giggled.

Crappy news today. Malcolm Young of AC/DC passed away. RIP Malcolm. You and AC/DC have provided me many years of entertainment and will continue to do so.

    Vic Firth Thanks this.

Bwaha,,,, I'm still here brutha. We talked about this at Blue City in Memphis. See, I'm doin Christmas like that,,,,, just run me. Tgiving was all so about Mama and Daddy that it's carried on to my sisters and me.

I'm in Albany at this God forsaken Pilot. Already been hit up by 3 LLs. One of 'em paused for a split second but,,,,, nah, ain't doin that. But I thought about it.

DNH in Cedar Springs in the morning headed for Cinnci Monday. A few days off with my sisters in N GA and the best Southern cookin' this side of the Mississippi. Was doin good on my diet but I'm about to blow the bottom out of it.

Sumpin' else on my mind. Be nice. Just be nice till it's time to not be nice. Yeah, we know where that line came from. My case just now.

We all make the Swift jokes and most are warranted. Sometimes they're not. Ole boy Swift driver just pulled in, set up nicely and got within a few inches of my bumper when I hit the horn. He immediately got out, walked back and told me he was a noobie. I helped him get back in. He was a noobie that asked for help. What,,,, you gonna tease the fat kid in the gym? That driver was so happy he hit the hole in two shots, I'd give up my breakfast for him.
Dedicated to be safe? You bet your sweet bippy I am and so was the Swift driver. Be a man, do what is right. You were new too once.

Gotta be careful with that horn. I stopped at the Pilot in Paducah to make a phone call or two and while I was there, Swift was trying to back in. CB was hollering at Swift that he'd better get out and look because he was getting reeeeal close to a flatbed parked on the blind side...but Swift kept on backing up. He laid on the horn, and Swift mashed the throttle and slammed into the side of the trailer. When asked, he said he thought he was being honked at because he was taking too long and holding up traffic.

Glad he knew what YOUR horn meant!
