Nice place to have that happen.

No kidding, it probably punched the pavement too.
CrappieJunkie Thanks this. -
That one is a nice place. It's amazing it hung onto the 5th wheel that far. Assuming it pulled out of parking spot.Puppage Thanks this.

And now my "I just don't know" question of the day.
Can that happen - or did someone do that to this unfortunate as a really funny joke? -
-
Sometimes trailers can take a bit of distance to unhook. Like if its really cold out and just doesn't hook all the way, you can get a good distance down the road and then boom! its off.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Which is why I don't just tug a couple times. I physically crouch with flashlight in hand and look to make sure I'm good to go.longbedGTs, TequilaSunrise, DAX_ and 4 others Thank this.

I hook up to the trailer, do a couple tugs, get out and visually check, do my walk around/pt and before i leave i tug it again. overkill never hurts
nax, MACK E-6, Bob Dobalina and 2 others Thank this. -
I think that's one of those new self driving trailers.
