Jeez man, you were there for two weeks. Why even work for a company with an attitude like that?

That didn't take long to be accused of working for the company... I think I'm up to about 30 diffrent companys I've worked for, if all the accusations were true.

Look, you stole their truck. When told, you should have removed everything and called a cab. You think no rental place in the area had a car? How naive can one be? Of course you could have gotten a rental. Very worst case is a hotel shuttle ride to a local hotel to stay the night until you could make arrangements.

No, you decided to commit a felony because you had you feelings hurt. Next time you commit a felony I hope you spend time in jail to give you time to figure out where you went wrong.

Enterprise will bring the car to you. You could of called a cab or uber to get you to a car rental place.

I didn't accuse you of anything. I said you sound just like them.

I already told you why I couldn't get a rental car. Obviously nobody reads.

Yeah cops always give you a ride to the hotel after you commit a felony.

I'd like to remind everyone that this thread is not really about whether the way in which I quit was the correct way to do things. I think we can all agree that it wasn't.

I made this thread to highlight how poorly K&B treats their drivers, and before this event happened and I lost my personal belongings I was subjected to their abuse for 5 months. All I wanted to do was go home.

Even drivers that they admit do a #### good job are treated poorly. I don't have a history of this type of behavior so maybe, just maybe, they did something to provoke it.

We are looking at the whole picture.

KB has ownership for how they run their company. You have ownership of your actions. KB didnt treat you like an employee deserves, but its no excuse for your own actions. Everytime a driver flys off the handle it gives companys a reason to act poorly to drivers, which leads drivers to fly off the handle, etc etc etc.

You put in your notice. They kept running you. You decide youre getting off that truck one way or another. You called and got into an altercation over the phone. Me, I develop a "flat tire" and get routed to the nearest TA, where I park and call Enterprise to come pick me up. Or I make some other plan to get my stuff out of their control, then I make that phone call.

The fact is you ceded the initiative to the company. You let the situation develop beyond the breaking point, then acted rashly. You said yourself that "sometimes you have to take a hit to make your point". You took the hit alright, but failed to make your point.

Up to the point you stole the truck, we were with you. After that you deserve what you get.
