Who in his right mind would tailgate a tanker sporting a flammable hazmat placard? That's like some pro-level stupid right there...
-
Who said they were in there right mind??? Do most four wheeler operators have a mind?????
S M D, magoo68, tech10171968 and 5 others Thank this. -
prolly needed glasses to read, and didn't have them on, and wanted to get close to read the signs?
i dunno, i had nothing else.tech10171968 Thanks this. -
The same type of idiots that tailgate me when I'm flying 1.4 placards that say explosives right on them. Or for that matter when I have 2.1 flammable gas, Flammable 3 or for that matter any other placards. Running line haul for an LTL carrier I have placards most nights, often multiple types and it don't seem to phase the idiots around me none.tech10171968, buddyd157, Lepton1 and 1 other person Thank this.

The westbound exit 108 can be a cluster. The exit part is alright. The entrance is onto a steep uphill climb. Lots of trucks are entering westbound on an uphill curve.
I'm not sure exactly where in relationship to the exit this occurred, but a likely scenario is the four wheeler attempted to shoot the gap to get around slow moving trucks and didn't make it. Extra caution is required around this interchange.
