    There are regional companies that will take you if your mvr and work history is good. Nees to know where youre at though and youll be applying to a lot of places.

    stay away from CRST I didn't work there, but I know from drivers they are worse than most other starter companies.

    I'm a little further along that the original poster. Working on my 7th month off the trainer truck and LOVE the job but .34cpm and always waiting for an MT is killing me. Currently live in Ogden, UT but we're moving to Tennessee in May 2018. I'm driving solo with my dog.
    Plan was to be 3week out 3 days home but I've been more like 4-6 weeks out home 4 days.
    I have my hazmat/tanker/double-trips and a TWIC card.

    Gotta love it, the OP is like so many, a one hit wonder. Lot's of folks offer advice, ask questions, etc. And not one reply from her.

    Really? Knight was offering me 36 cents a mile to start, Ozark starts students at 41cpm.
