You work within the HOS, then there is no control.

If you don't work within the HOS, then you are the problem they are trying to eliminate.

 

Guess he's never heard of "Implied Consent". They don't need a warrant or probable cause to stop you, search you, your truck, your tailer...nothing. It's all written into the terms of your CDL. Don't like it, quit. Don't like cops? Well that's on you. But might I suggest that when he says stop and put your hands up, you do so. If I'm in his place and you so much as twitch wrong, I'm sending you to the sweet by and by and I ain't going to lose one wink of sleep over it. I'm so sick of lawlessness that it makes me wonder how long it's going to take for good, decent, law abiding Americans to get sick of all the scum and get out a big bucket of bleach.

The big difference is that I'm a strong constitutional conservative and all the spineless "compliance" with whatever the political wind is, is directly destroying the freedom that this country was founded for.
Go sell tyranny and your eld scams somewhere else, I'm not buying into the false premises this law was founded on.
Implied consent BTW does have it's limitations and in the CDL environment.

Unlawful searches of CMVs have been challenged that your personal items are not covered by implied consent. you're in for a case of some poisonous fruit mr law professor.

Go to your local probation department, ask them for an "electronic monitoring" ankle bracelet and the subscription service . You should pay them to provide info on where you go... Because we don't "trust" what you might say on paper and you need to be verified you weren't anywhere you weren't supposed to be.
No that isn't "control".. to mandate that scenario on the public ... Not at all. (Sarcastic comment intended)

 

I am an evil LE person. I spend my days telling drivers that didn't have time to do a pre trip that parts of their truck are falling off. I stop drivers who have been driving way too long or under the influence and shut them down so that they don't kill other truck drivers. I stop trucks that have large objects falling off their trailers onto the highways. LOL
It may come as a surprise, but I despise ELD's and all other computer logging systems as much or more than anybody.

 

Thank you for your service we all really need. The problem not computer logging device, problem is HOS regulation one for all. If God will give me super power the first what I want to do it's force all lawmakers in DC to fit one size and style dress and go to work. No doubts truck drivers will enforce it with pleasure.
