Most of these traffic tickets legal offices will be able to get the citations dismissed or get lowered to a non moving violation. But, it depends how much your willing to spend or they are going charge you. I know one individual personally that has paid $550.00 to get a speeding ticket dismissed, but he driving record is not so good. So his attorney charges more. Also, there are those agencies that charge you monthly fees, those are for individuals that are always getting in trouble I would assume.

Basically, if the cop shows up in court after you've plead "not guilty" you're screwed.

In 1990 CHP got me @ 65 bobtail going across the bay bridge.
I picked up the yellow pages and found a lawyer. In court CHP said not only was he pacing me from 3 lengths back but also had me on radar.
    My lawyer asked four questions.
When was the last time it was calibrated
    Who calibrated it.
CHP answered with date and officer blank and blank.
So you have no personal knowledge of calibration.
    CHP no
    Fourth question
Your honor at the time I will be asking for a dismissal, officer has no personal knowledge of calibration.

Yes, you can beat a speeding ticket in Ca
Call a lawer!! At that time it was about $450 for the lawyer.

That may have happened in 1990. Today in California if they show up they show up with all their ducks in a row.

What csa? Op made no mention of getting inspected. All he's concerned about is his MVR.

I paid $450 for a lawyer also. About 5 years ago roughly. Ticket was dropped to logbook violation. I was a little upset about having my first logbook violation but since it never went on record. Guess it didn't matter. :)
