No, I pulled in, which was easy. Backing out was easier than convincing the crane operator to help me out!

Colorado may give you a ticket ($680.00) if you remove the muffler and you have jakes installed on truck.

Run the pipes up the back. Strait pipe is only loud when accelerating or jaking.

I had 7 inch straight pipes on my 96 western star loved them also had 5%tint on the windows miss that truck. now I will say when I traded it in for the pete It was nice to be able to hear and couldn't believe how quiet it was. Here in pa you can have straight pipes but you have to have the heat shields.Got a ticket in va for them it was only 63 dollars no big deal.If you get harassed just buy a small muffler take it to a welding shop and have them gut it and put on underneath truck.Got warned in va for my window tint also.I miss my outlaw days where I didn't give a crap.

hey man, first I ever heard of having to have heat shields. Noone around here that I know of has heat shields. What happened to you where you found out about that law that no one knows about and none of these cops mention? You must have ran into a real super prick of a cop one day. IF it was me, I would have took the ticket, wiped my ### with it, put it in an envelope with a check and sent it in.

I burned my arm climbing into an R model Mack wrecker once...door hit the air cleaner and didn't open as wide as I expected it to, and it knocked me into the exhaust when I was climbing into the jump seat. Oops. The next time I saw that wrecker on the road, it had a heat shield on the exhaust. They were just lucky it was me (thick skin, high pain tolerance, and saw it as my own #### fault getting in a hurry climbing in) instead of some sue-happy little pansy looking for a payday.

Maybe the driver didn't like the smell of burnt skin.
