Any suggestions on an extension handle for a tough to reach 5th wheel lock release. Mine is extremely short and I often struggle with it as well as getting filthy.

Why not just use a pin puller?

Get a gadget known as the 'Happy Unhooker'. It's a metal hook with a t-shaped handle that helps you out nicely. Should be able to find it at just about any truck stop. I bought one when I started driving because I'm pretty short (5'2") and needed all the help I could get!

i bent some 3/8 rod to make one. about the same as a hay hook, if you have ever seen one of those.

They also make the "Happy Unhooker" out of aluminum

I've still got mine someplace. My hubby didn't want it, so it's in the basement, buried!
