What does the interview process look like?

With age, experience, and maturity one learns over the course if time that, .......

"The less said is the BEST said!"

"You were given two eyes and two ears, but. ONLY one mouth, primarly for sucking air in and out and eating. Use all three appropriately."

"Speak slow, speak low, but best of all? Say nothing at all! Better for you to keep your mouth shut and have em' wonder if your a,fool than to open it and confirm it!

Don't tell EVERYTHING you know

Don't give unsolicited advice. Fools won't heed it , and geniuses don't need it!

It's ENTITELY possible to be 200% qualified for a job, and over talk your way out of it.

Many years ago a highly skilled, highly educated , experience business excuative who had gone through multiple interviews for an upper excuative position with Ford Motor Company.

He had beat out all the competition save two or three.

His last and final interview was a dinner with Henery Ford himself.

He didn't get the job.

Why?

He seasoned his food with salt and pepper BEFORE tasting it!

Knowing my luck I am going to be put up in the motel room with the moron that never shuts the #### up.

I know, because then they'll follow me around like a lost puppy.. and I would deserve it if dumb enough to acknowledge them.

 

Yea! I've the same concern. I'm not too much on television, radio, music.

I sack out early , and get up early.

I'm working it NOW to go hold hog when I get to school.

Trucker "Boot Camp" yea I can deal with the whole "Hurry Up and Wait" ~ Standing In Line, keeping your mouth shut, doing what your told, when your told, and how your told!

Yea! I know. Been there and done that.
20 years in the Marines , nine of em' at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina.

First as a Marksmanship Coach , then as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor (PMI), a Weapons Instructor, and later as a Marine Drill Instructor

My concern?

I've a low tolerance for lame, lazy, know it all, BS, half ax, people.

I'm going into with nothing but 150% focus.

 

I never heard of a company that won't let you pay half the room cost and have your own room.

 

Bring earplugs. Seriously.

 

You can ask for a room by yourself most will oblige and charge you for half the cost.
