It needs a complete rework.. cab Interior worn out, headliner homemade junk, wiring shot, air leaks everywhere, ag100 needs bushings, big cam has 700k + and leaks, trans and axles same.. hence the full rebuild and modern upgrades.. needs a cool custom paint job too.. have had it about 3 years rescued from scrap run after friend of family died and they were gonna crush it.. been collecting parts since I bought it and driving my freightliner to pay for it.bigguns and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this.

I’m not sure why, but these sleeper fairings just screams sex machine too me. I love a flattop, but these just seem so 90’s cross country runnin’ sex machine.

That's cool man, it's a lot of work. The endless nights and the amount of money it will take to restore that truck is really hard. But if you can see it through till the end it would be cool. Not too many can do it, and do it right. Good luck to you.
OLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this. -

Trucks with little to no comfort by today's standard? Lol. Manual steering as well as Air or Hyd assist steering, NOT power steering. And yes I've had my butt in both
. For me a set of sticks would suite me fine as far as the transmission goes. Actually thinking of installing a set in my everyday ride. I personally like the W900A's and the 359's but... I have to give credit where credit is do, my 4200 Transtar is very comfortable and has good leg room and it's right with the KW & the Pete in my likings of a hood. The older freightliners were roomy to a point, not much on the throttle in them for some reason. The Aerodyne KW was my favorite cabover to drive, nice standing up putting your britches on instead of acting like Houdini laying horizontal.

Chicken lights and chrome, mirror image left to right. A rod from the pedal to the pump. A slow steady smooth roll when coming up through the boxes. A way of carrying ones self with class. Not feeling the need to announce your presence.
No tribal paint, huge gawdy visors or big outrageous pipes. No jaking or blowing through the lot in high range.‘Olhand, bigguns, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 2 others Thank this. -
