this is my new( at least to me) 07 pete 379, the boss got it for me this january, so I've been in it almost a year now...hell of a step up from the 97 pete 379 I was driving...had almost a million miles and it showed...this new one is a cadillac, looks good, runs god and she is FFFFFAAAASSSSSTTTT! I included one pic of the boat as we found it in the slow lane of I35 in Austin,Tx...the trailer it was on broke, and the boat came off and slid down the highway, we loaded it back on it;s trailer, the backed the whole shooting match onto my trailer and hauled it 25 miles back to my shop...loads of fun...16'8" after dark with a police escort!

I am sorry, but the 379/389's are the prettiest trucks I have ever seen. Who cares about turning circle anyhow?

Love the PICS!

NICE! Very nice truck! I like the bumper and the lights as well. You can sign it over to me ANY day and I would gladly accept her! Thanks for sharing the pics.

That's a purty truck!

Great ride...............

Thank ya'll, she's the nicest truck I've ever driven and there have been many over the years.... and ummm.... wiseone... i don't think I could do that...the owner of my company doesn't even have a key...although I did let him drive it home...lol!
-
this particular pete turns better than any truck I've ever driven, I can turn aroung in most residential cul-de-sac's without backing up... and i haven't had to take the wheel stops out like I have on pete's in the past
-
that is one beautiful Pete.
Does it have a DPF? What kind of MPG are you getting? -
Nice ride aeastman, and you're just up the road from me (well, maybe a hundred miles or so). I have trucks in your area almost weekly in fact (used to be daily, but the current economy put the brakes on that)! I love the look of the flattops...wouldn't want to live in one over the road, but like you, I'm local, so they're perfect. Take a look at my albums in my profile, I took delivery of a new one in May, and I'll attest that the turning radius is vastly improved. I run a 260" wheelbase, and my hauls are deliveries into subdivisions with a 48'x102" flatbed & forklift--not a problem in most cases.
So, what are the specs for that slick ride? We all want to know.
Looks like you installed a Panelite 12.5" drop visor. If you don't mind my asking, who did the work and have you been satisfied with it? I ask this because I've got one sitting in the box in my office that has yet to be installed on mine? Simply put, I have a problem putting a drill and die grinder to a new truck. I'm even afraid to pull down the headliner for access to the huckbolts--how do those things come down anyway? I want to make sure I can get the huck tool in there to properly mount the brackets! There will be no shortcuts, only the stainless hucks (used on the hood crown--they're stronger too) are going in for replacement. I don't need problems later on.
BTW, nice trailer too! I need to find me one of those Landoll's. It would be perfect for hauling some of our specialized field equipment. To bad the price tag is a great deal over my (and most anyone else's) budget with the current economic situation!
Drive proud!
