Dedicated I was making $1200-$1500 each week...otr=big pay cut.

 

I like the company. I drive a dedicated account out of Texas and the surrounding states, home a once or twice during the week, off weekends, make $65k a year, and the best part is I get to throw tires at folks all day.

 

Depends on your definition of good. Bigger trucking companies are always slave drivers and tons of bull policies. Try and get started with a decent mid size fleet. I started with Watkins and Shepard and schnider came and and in a matter of months they ruin the company. Every other #### day was some new policy. So expect that from JB Hunt, you are definitely just a number. Enough negativity do what you got to do to get your experience and then move your way into a good company. We all have to start somewhere.

 

I can think of a few people I wouldn’t mind throwing a tire at for free.

 

If you do dedicated it can have its good days! But if you are new owner op just starting, will be doing lots of miles low pay

 

Dedicated pays $200 a day plus accessory pay..otr makes a lot less..good company.
