HVAC is a great trade..when you get people's HVAC system up and running..they really appreciate your work..especially if a family member is established with a customer base.
Great pay and home every night...big big advantage..not going to find a wife trucking..

Have the best of both; learn to work on refrigerated trailers for some trucking company. That was my plan if something happened I had to quit driving before I could retire.
Don't waste time getting a CDL-B because many straight truck jobs still require CDL-A.
Even some cargo van jobs require CDL-A simply because that's their policy & a driver can advance up the chain from cargo vans to straight trucks or tractor-trailers within the same company.
Panther Premium Logistics uses different types of trucks, but only hires new cdl grads for cargo vans & straight trucks: www.panther4me.com
    Drivers must be:
    • At least 21 years of age for cargo vans and straight trucks (no experience necessary).
    • At least 21 years of age for Tractor-Trailers with a minimum of 6 months recent, verifiable Tractor-Trailer driving experience.
