Hey everyone, and @Chinatown will probably have some suggestions.. But, I just left trucking for a week and I hate it.. I miss it already, It's in my blood and I have to go back.. Anyways. I'm looking for a regional or dedication spot. Preferably home twice a week.. Reset and in the middle or something along those lines. Hauling anything but a 53' box. I left a job hauling oversize for $20 an hour on call 24/7 365 (Ask me about it if you want) and left for a job with occasional class B work. I can't stand it already.
Anyways, looking into some regional positions.. Looking into tanker, Dry bulk, flatbed. Anything that will get me out of the truck.
Thanks guys. Safe travels.
Just hit my 6 month mark.

Call builders transportation out of Memphis Tennessee. They have a yard east of Pittsburgh but have lots of contracts in your area. Should be able top get home weekly.

Attempting not to pull containers or dry van.. I'd like to do flatbed, Tanker, Dry bulk.. I will if thats the best choice though.

Give builders a call. Youll have to do 4 days in Memphis in orientation, but if you get through it, they are good people.

West Pennsylvania has a fair amount of oil field work. You might start calling companies that serve the oil field. I pull flatbed out of OKC for the oil field. Sometimes I get dispatched on a load to an oil rig in PA, WV, or eastern Ohio.
Oil field trucking involves flatbed (including oversize and overweight), dry bulk (cement and sand), tanker (crude or chemicals), cranes, etc. Rare to see a dry van, but they always have one at a frack site to store parts for the mechanic.Just passing by and Gunner75 Thank this. -
