How do you like the Volvo? Any problem areas in the design? I'm thinking of upgrading to a newer truck from my '96. The 780 looks like a helluva setup...![]()

Woah that had to suck! Did you lock it? Like what alll happened? Did you go into a store, and come out and your truck was gone?? Wow.

I realize this is dated, but thinking many wander the archives.
Anyway, clicked on this thread to get some info about various trucks but caught the quote above. Avoid that place, too many running under the radar over there, you may or may not get your stuff, among other things. -

It's hard to say since you didn't tell how much it was.

i know your post is old but i know in my area the parts at the freightliner dealer are no cheaper than at the pete dealer and the labor rate is all within a few dollers of each other so i dont see were you save any thing buying a freightliner or any other brand.
-
For me its pete all the way with a flat top sleeper 500hp or more and a 13spd or 18spd and its not an image thing i owned 4 freightliners and then bought a pete and never looked at freightliner again, in 06 when i bought my current truck i looked at a like speced freightliner and pete and the inside of the pete was way nicer than the freightliner noise wise and ride wise plus in my area the pete dealer taker real good care of me and that means alot to me.
