    Good Afternoon everyone,

    My name is Ralph and I have a company that I'm trying to apply for a broker authority.
    I paid $999 on the New Broker's Course from TIA.net, and I feel that I did not learn anything from there, the course made it feel simple on how to find a load, but I still don't think is just calling shippers and asking for loads, is anyone willing to help me?

    Buddy, I'm gonna be real with you here. You got fleeced out of a grand. There's so much that goes into our side of this industry that no broker boot camp or paid course can teach you. God's honest truth is this- hold off on starting your authority, save yourself insurance and bond costs and the myriad other costs that go into this, and go work for someone for a couple of years, first. Find out if this is something you actually can do, and more importantly is something you want to do. Learn the lanes, build a book, and then reevaluate. Jumping into your own authority from the jump is a recipe to go broke quick.
