90 day waranty wouldn't work for me! If it's Detroit parts you get 24 months on parts. I think if it's a Detroit shop they give 2 years on labor too.
Sounds like a grease monkey shop with aftermarket parts?Bean Jr., Dave_in_AZ, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this. -
He said he only used OEM. Nothing else.
-
Sounds like more questions are in order? Look up on detroits website. Detroit parts should have longer warranty than 90 days.
I already don't think I trust this shop?Dave_in_AZ and Mark Griz Thank this. -
90 days just throw the number in the garbage and don't look back. For a little more you can get a real DD reman, the two year warranty, and if you take care of it, it may go a million.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Hear alot about reman engines. Any suggestions of first places to research for price?
-
Try that guy OldMan posted. I know the DD dealer, not the Freightliner dealer down the street from CRE is an outstanding shop in SLC.
Mark Griz Thanks this. -
check out penn power group.
Mark Griz Thanks this. -
Start with a Detroit shop first. Then you can compare everything else to it.
warranty, downtime, cost, faith.
Then make your choice.Mark Griz and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
