    I can tell you from personal experience it will have no effect on you getting your cdl.At least, not in my state,ky. But it will show up when a company does their background check.And they all do personal background checks.Im trying to get 2 dui,s off my record from 10 and 20 years ago.But i still went to school and got my cdl.Good luck .

    I got a ticket in Colorado in 1980 for careless driving which I never paid.
    I moved to Michigan shortly after and exchanged my Colorado license for a Michigan License.
    There is no record of any ticket in Colorado.
