The LCD display doesn't show fault codes. Those are not codes, they are messages which do not translate to any diagnostic information. The LCD display was never meant to be a code reader. You need to get your truck properly scanned.

Heavyd, I am having the no data link issue on a 2005 9400i and have removed all old qaulcom wiring/disconnected abs box/checked all fuses and relays/splice packs today I will start to tear into harness can you help with where the J link wires come out of fire wall, and where the ECM connections are cm870 isx400st

Datalink wires between the firewall and engine are numbered 98B- and 98+. They are black 18 gauge wires. 98B- comes out of the firewall at cavity S and goes into the ECM at cavity 20. 98+ comes out at T and going in at 10 at the ECM.
NDtanker Thanks this. -
is it ok to use dielectric grease on the ecm pin connectors ?

Yes. Excellent to use that. I use it all the time with any electrical connection, especially at ECMs.
