    Very stressful when you get pulled over. Imho courtesy, being humble and polite goes farther than quoting statutes with someone who has studied them "Dont poke the bear". Especially if he is a stressed cop looking to physically recalibrate an evil doers thinking. If he feels it's time to give you a ticket take it with a smile and protest in court if possible, or worse if he wants to take you to jail stay "calm", don't say a word or move in protest that's "resisting" or "threatening gestures to an office" just go, don't make things worse. Explain yourself to the judge at your bond hearing 8am - 5 pm. Hurray for good cops, booo and a sternly shaken finger for all the bad cops.
    Thank you for letting me share, Thank you for reading, Truck safely all.

    Middlefinger if your post was to me I appreciate and validate your critique, Very.. sorry if I hurt your feelings, or caused you any undue mental stress, or anything that might resemble convulsions. The last thing I wish to do is inadvertently make you feel stupid, but Stupid is a very strong word my friend and there is no cure for it.
    Respectfully and Humbly your friend and fellow trucker.

    Please DISCUSS issues rather then INSULT each other!

    Opinions are one thing but provoking each other is just wrong.

    We can CLOSE this thread if need be.

    And on a lighter note, did anyone who watched the video in post #65 come to the conclusion that some of the drivers camera angles suggested a peek down the officers shirt? :biggrin_255:

    yeah, and aclholism.....i can't imagine basically being the 'trash man' of people....constantly dealing with scum of the earth....and even the same people over and over that keep getting out...for to little pay....always seeing 'the bad' in people and regular people don't want u around (don't want minor tickets, etc.) untill they need you....then your supposed to be there right then....i feel it's best to be respectful, understanding, and never hurts to know ur rights if necessary....

    On your comment about the trust funders vs the trailer park meth people.
    I would think that the trust funders type of crime is very hard for the everyday cop to root out, and build a case on, whereas the meth labs type usually almost throw themselves into a cops lap. Informers, the phyiscal characteristics of the meth user (why do I feel a "profiling" comment
    rearing it's head?), their M/O, along with the fact that drug use often leads to other crimes in order to support their habit, etc.
    Once again I refer back to a statement I previously made:

    It is very hard to be arrested for a crime if you are innocent.

    This is not the first time I have read this sort of comment from you;

    BE WARNED!

    You also stated, "found that 75% of them were committed by one certain race, on a continual basis, month after month"... Is this still not, segregating due to race on a percentage basis? Sorry, I'm not buying it... Race should have NO influence in determining a crimminal trend...

    Why is it very hard for an "everyday cop" to root out and build a case on a trust fund crimminal type? It seems they(the trust funders) would be easy to find{they live in the huge houses outside of town}... and they likely would not resist arrest or run... Easy/safe pickings for your "everyday cop".

    Or, Is it possible, due to the trust funders socio-economic status, that they are better equipped to contest crimminal charges placed on them... thus, making it more difficult and costly to get a crimminal conviction in spite of their crimes??? hmmm?
