Besides, look at it this way, you could have been me last week...
Drop jeep, chain up, run over 50 miles into the bush and load up, slide, scrape and crawl you way back the 50 miles with 108,000lbs of 374 Cat on...oh yeah, first it's go up the Alaska highway, then west into the mountains on Hwy 29, then into the bush, so yup there was a hill or two involved. Your new truck would have crushed it!
Now I get to spend at least 4hrs in the wash bay trying to clean that mess off. How bad is it? I scraped 1/2" of muck off the top of the beam for my reload...the whole truck & trailer are like that, it's gross.

Stuck at the Stanton scale in TN waiting on MS permit - looking more like I am going to get stuck in TX for 5 days.

Hard to say - if I get stuck in TX it could be close to 30. Started waiting on the 11th....can’t get it there til at least the 28th if I miss the holiday curfews it could be after the New Years curfews like the 4th or 5th.

By then my head will have exploded. Been sitting at the TN scale since yesterday about 3 pm

They didn’t bother me but inspected about 20 trucks between last night and today
