PSP reports drop off in value 33% each year. So it’s not forever. I know because I have 2 items on my report. They are both over a year now. I was still offered a job with a highly respected company recently.

Try Craigslist and you'll find something.
There's two threads on here for drivers looking for work. Search both those threads and put your info on there also.

I quit that job after the DOT inspection. The carrier I'm with now didn't care but I don't like the job and the good ones are not interested because of this.

Actually it is. Two different carriers have stated as much. Perfect record other than that.

That PSP score has a lot to do with how often a trucking company trucks get the green light or red light at scales.

    Dave_in_AZ and NavigatorWife Thank this.

Dang that's the only thing on your PSP and it's causing a problem? My current super-strict company said they don't require perfect drivers just drivers with good PSP scores. IIRC, items on your PSP are tripled the first year, then drop to only being doubled after 1 year, and then drop to single points after 2 years. Say the violation earned 1 point. For 0-1 year it shows up as 3 points. For years 1-2 it shows up as 2 points. For years 2-3 it shows up as 1 point.

That score doesn't follow to the new company CSA score. Just remains with the driver. A scale has no idea what the driver has done until he's inspected.

say what you want. I took no bad equipment. you have to prove, that I did, and you cannot prove something that did not happen..

I"m surprised. Most local gigs don't even care about csa.

That's the one thing i like about going local. It's been almost 2 years since i've been hassled for an inspection.
